Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Level II Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and mid-level repairs.

The role may involve diagnostics, electrical and drive-train work, with opportunities to interact with customers and coordinate with vendors to secure parts. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of experience), 3+ years in vehicle service, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification is preferred to align with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work experience servicing vehicles instead of the degree).
• 3+ years vehicle service and repair experience.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Valid driver?s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs Preventive Maintenance: oil changes, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission services and vehicle inspections.
• Performs various repairs and maintenance including OBD II systems, brakes, tires, tune-ups, suspension and electrical systems as certified.
• Maintains/repairs shop equipment and keeps the area safe and clean.
• Creates and maintains vehicle history and maintenance records; may up-fit vehicles as needed.
• Interacts with customers professionally and coordinates with vendors for parts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
