Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will diagnose issues, perform line technician duties, and deliver outstanding service to guests.

Our program emphasizes safety, continuous learning, and teamwork. Eligible candidates should have 1 year of automotive experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem solving.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles; provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
• Maintain teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
