Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers, diagnosing issues and delivering outstanding service. This role emphasizes keeper-ready skills in brakes, alignments, and routine maintenance, with comprehensive training and advancement opportunities.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, quality, and guest satisfaction. A valid driver's license and legal work status in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services and routine inspections/maintenance.
• Conduct system diagnostics and brake repairs.
• Handle fluid exchanges/flushes and preventative maintenance.
• Carry out wheel alignments and tire installation.
• Provide clear guest communication and guidance to junior technicians.
• Document work on repair orders and report safety issues.
