Job summary

W3Global is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney in Indianapolis with 3-5 years of federal civil litigation experience. The candidate will handle matters from intake through resolution, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.

Experience representing plaintiffs in employment discrimination or related matters is highly preferred, but strong federal civil litigation background in another area will be considered.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Indiana license in good standing.
• 3–5 years of federal civil litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, discovery, and litigation procedures.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage case assignments and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative legal team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain assigned case files from intake through resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses.
• Develop litigation strategies with senior attorneys.
• Conduct discovery and assist with case preparation.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Assist with trial preparation and attend trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Maintain strong organization and timely management of multiple active matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff as part of a team.
