Job summary

Elemental Architecture in New York City seeks an Intermediate Architect / Architectural Designer to contribute to diverse projects from concept through construction administration.

Qualified candidates hold a professional degree in Architecture and have 5–10 years of experience, with NYC project exposure and progress toward licensure. Strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, detail-oriented work, and effective collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture required.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in architectural practice.
• Experience on New York City projects preferred and licensure progress encouraged.
• Strong design sensibility, technical aptitude, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with consultants.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design development from concept through construction administration.
• Develop architectural drawings, details, specs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate work with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other consultants.
• Manage deliverables, schedules, and team coordination under Principal supervision.
• Lead smaller projects or teams as experience allows.
• Participate in client meetings, coordination, and presentations.
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration tasks.
• Maintain high standards of design quality and documentation.
