Job summary

Amentum in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Mid-Level Architect to support design and delivery of commercial and industrial facilities. You will collaborate with a Project Architect on large projects and may lead on smaller ones, applying knowledge of IBC, design trends, and material selection.

This role requires Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain within six months, strong communication, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• 5–15 years of professional work experience.
• Registered Architect with TN licensure or ability to obtain within six months.
• Knowledge of IBC and specifications.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Architect on large projects and lead on smaller ones.
• Apply design trends, construction methodology and material selection.
• Ensure work complies with established quality procedures and ISO/NQA-1 like systems.
• Deliver projects from concept through detailed design with budgets and schedules.
• Travel to sites as needed and work in a team environment.
