Job summary
Amentum is seeking an Architectural Designer to collaborate with architects and designers on technical portions of projects. The role can be performed in Oak Ridge, TN or Idaho Falls, ID with potential travel, focusing on design trends, construction methods, material usage, and supplier suitability to support infrastructure across the United States.
Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required, and candidates should have experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft
Qualifications
- Experience designing commercial or industrial facilities.
- Deliver projects from concept through detailed design completion.
- Experience with International Building Code (IBC).
- Producing specifications and reviewing work of other staff for technical accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with groups of architects and designers to complete technical portions of projects.
- Ensure work is completed within established budgets and schedules.
- Support development of life-changing infrastructure across the United States.
