Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist for the Advisory Solutions Group within the Asset Management Digital Strategies Practice supporting Federal clients. You will develop and deployed ML models, design AI solutions, and build semantic search systems to improve data retrieval and decision-making for critical programs.

Collaborate with client teams and internal colleagues to deliver AI-driven insights, stay current with AI research, and travel up to 20% (CONUS/OCONUS). U.S.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in AI, data science, or related field (including academic projects or internships).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (CS, Data Science, AI, Math, etc.).
• Proficiency with Python, R, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience deploying AI models and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models and AI algorithms.
• Design and optimize database architectures to support AI applications.
• Build and maintain semantic search solutions to improve data retrieval and user experience.
• Train and fine-tune models to meet performance targets.
