Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, KS, a defense contractor, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to implement fabrication, assembly, and installation plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Applicants should have 5+ years of related experience or 4+ years with a Bachelor's degree, and must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. DoD experience and SAP/CATIA/ENOVIA/3DX proficiency are preferred.

Formación

• 5+ years of related experience or 4+ years with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Successful candidates must be able to secure Program access approval.

Responsabilidades

• Implements fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Knowledge to develop tooling, interchangeability, replacement, and functional test plans.
• Using the established manufacturing process flow, defines sequences of events, develops text and graphics working structions, manufacturing data sets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material.
• Communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts.
• Coordinates change incorporation, optimizes processes, addresses producibility issues, production & post-production problems.
• Has the ability to demonstrate configuration control of the hardware, within the manufacturing build plan.
• Ability to apply process knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures.
