Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to support Air Force missions within a cloud-based LCMP-IDE. You will gather user requirements, develop user stories, and collaborate across analysts, designers, developers, and testers to deliver user-friendly digital products.

The role emphasizes SysML modeling, data visualization, and strong communication to senior officials. A Top Secret clearance and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

Job description

Work with an Agile team to develop digital products supporting client missions
Develop skills at the intersection of business and technology
Advance business analytics and processes
Research technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences
Develop leading-edge solutions within the cloud-based Life Cycle Management Process-Integrated Data Environment (LCMP-IDE)
Collaborate with requirements analysts, designers, developers, testers, and experienced business analysts
Identify clients' business needs
Gather user requirements
Develop user stories
Understand overall direction and nuanced user needs
Guide the team in fulfilling user needs by creating deployable features
Deliver high-business-value products supporting the Air Force
Modernize management weapons systems

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a business analyst or process improvement practitioner
Experience using SysML or similar modeling language
Experience using Microsoft Products, including Visio and PowerPoint
Experience with data visualization, such as process maps and frameworks
Ability to conduct research and evaluate options for action
Ability to independently assess existing system functionality, including user experience and data relationships
Ability to present concepts, including verbal or written, to varied audiences using logical and persuasive language
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Experience performing root cause analyses or supporting rapid process improvement events
Experience creating tickets and developing queries in Azure DevOps
Knowledge of nuclear compatibility, surety, or operational processes
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of Air Force Instructions and Manuals
Ability to work confidently with and present to senior ranking officials
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
