Job summary

Flutter Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) is hiring a Middle Android Engineer to contribute to a large production Android application. You will develop features in Kotlin, build UI with Jetpack Compose, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, QA, designers, and product managers.

You should be proficient in Android SDK lifecycle, MVVM, Coroutines/Flow, Retrofit, and have experience with RxJava modernization. Hybrid work arrangement is offered to support a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK lifecycle concepts.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and maintaining XML layouts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android features using Kotlin.
• Build new UI with Jetpack Compose and support existing XML screens.
• Work with ViewModels, StateFlow, LiveData, and UI state management.
• Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp.
• Diagnose bugs and improve performance and stability.
• Write unit tests and improve test coverage.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, designers, and product managers.
