Job summary

Simplify Software Experts LLC is seeking an experienced Android engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy mobile apps using Kotlin and Java. You will collaborate with product, UX/UI, and backend teams to deliver scalable solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

You will implement MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack Compose, participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components.
• Hands-on experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and traditional Android UI development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON data handling.
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications using modern Android technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, architects, and backend developers to deliver scalable mobile solutions.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance code following Android development best practices.
• Implement secure coding standards and ensure compliance with financial industry regulations.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud-based services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
