Job summary

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) in Colton, CA is seeking an experienced Assistant Unit Manager I – Specialty Critical Care for the MICU. This first supervisory level oversees staffing, assigns and reviews work, and supports daily clinical operations.

ARMC is a 456-bed teaching hospital on a 70-acre campus east of Los Angeles, offering extensive critical care services and dedicated professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain RN licensure with the State of California BRN.
• Two (2) years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse with six (6) months of experience in Specialty Critical Care unit (ICU, ED/Trauma, Labor & Delivery, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Services, OR, or Burn Center).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, Basic Arrhythmia Class, Critical Care Course OR CCM Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assign and review work, oversee staffing, and assist with day-to-day clinical operations of the MICU.
• Oversee unit staffing and ensure appropriate coverage and coordination across shifts.
• Maintain compliance with pre-employment processes and required certifications for staff.
