Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO seeks an experienced RN for ICU, providing direct patient care using nursing process, with day and night rotation, in an onsite ICU.

Minimum 6 months ICU RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship; must have RN license, BLS/ACLS; full-time schedule 72 hours per two weeks.

This role emphasizes teamwork, precepting, quality, and safety, with competitive incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• Current State RN licensure.
• At least 6 months ICU RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• BLS and ACLS certification required with card in-hand before start date.
• BLS and ACLS must remain valid through 60 days after hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Prioritize patient well-being and evidence-based practice.
• Precept new staff and students as oriented to UCHealth.
