Job summary

Advocate Health’s Medical ICU in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a skilled RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive critical care for adults with complex conditions. You will work nights on a 12-hour shift, with every third weekend, in a 32-bed MICU environment, delivering safe, evidence-based care.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1–2 years of RN experience in critical care preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1–2 years RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum, using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.
