Job Description
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Fabricates and/or modifies complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine. Must be familiar with substrate attach (duroid/ceramic), MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors, soldering skills and eutectic die attach. Must be familiar with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings). Must be familiar with working with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxies. Must be familiar with operating an MRSI 505 and 605. Must be able to work with a microscope for an entire shift. Can fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies. Must be familiar with MIL-STD-883 and working with bonding complex microwave modules. Must be familiar with manual gold ball and ribbon bonding. Must be very familiar with manual bonding equipment (Westbond). Familiar with automatic bonding equipment (Palomar ball bonders and Hesse wedge bonders).
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41024 - $65639
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
