Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Microwave and Linac engineer to contribute to the RF chain for powering electron Linacs. The role is onsite in Palo Alto with 50% travel to Mountain View, collaborating in a multidisciplinary team and applying diagnostic tools like network analyzers and power meters.

You will work on design, testing, and documentation while providing estimates for scope, cost, and schedule.

Formación

• BS/MS in Physics, Microwave Engineering or similar field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Linacs and high power microwave systems.
• Experience operating relevant lab equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Linac & Microwave component design work and data collection.
• Review and solve difficult technical issues with fellow scientists and engineers.
• Provide technical support on Linac & microwave projects and act as a resource to related projects at Siemens Healthineers.
• Coordinate resources to complete tasks or projects and provide scope, cost and schedule estimates.
