Job summary

RATP Dev USA is seeking a Microtransit Operator (Non-CDL) to safely operate VoTran microtransit vehicles in Volusia County, delivering ADA-compliant, on-demand transportation with a focus on courteous passenger service.

The role requires a flexible schedule from 5am to 12am including weekends, a high school diploma, and a valid non-CDL driver's license with a clean driving record. Training and scheduling systems are part of daily operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license (non-CDL) and acceptable driving record.
Ability to obtain required certifications or endorsements as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a non-CDL microtransit vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR documentation.
Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and provide courteous, professional service.
Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and mobility devices as needed.
Communicate clearly with riders regarding pickups, delays, and service changes.
Use tablets and mobile data terminals to manage trips and dispatch communications.
Document trips, no-shows, and cancellations accurately.
