Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a client, seeks a Microsoft Solution Architect to drive enterprise digital transformation and AI initiatives in a hybrid role based in Detroit, MI. You will be the hands-on SME across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and AI-enabled solutions.

You will design and build AI agents, automate business processes, and present business value to senior leaders while ensuring scalable, secure deployments across the enterprise.

Optomi, in partnership with one of our clients, is seeking a Microsoft Solution Architect to serve as a hands-on technical expert supporting enterprise digital transformation and AI initiatives. This role will serve as the go-to expert across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot, and Copilot Studio, with a strong focus on building AI agents, automation solutions, and scalable business applications. The Microsoft Solution Architect will work directly with employees and business teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify opportunities for automation and AI, and translate business needs into effective Microsoft solutions. This individual will also partner with senior leaders to articulate platform capabilities, demonstrate business value, and drive adoption of Microsoft and AI technologies across the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings expert-level, hands-on Microsoft experience, proven experience building Power Platform and AI/Copilot solutions, and the ability to operate as a trusted technical resource within a large enterprise environment.

• Deep Microsoft 365 expertise — strong technical understanding of the broader Microsoft ecosystem and how the tools integrate.
• Hands-on development & troubleshooting — able to personally build, configure, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Microsoft/Power Platform issues.
• Enterprise-level experience — supporting Microsoft and AI solutions within a large corporate environment, including governance, security, integrations, and scalability.
• Technical SME / escalation experience — has served as the go-to expert employees, developers, and business teams rely on for difficult technical questions and issues.
• Executive communication & business consulting experience — able to present to senior leaders, understand business problems, recommend the right Microsoft/AI solution, and clearly articulate its value.
