Join to apply for the Microsoft Power BI Developer role at PlanIT Group, LLC.

PlanIT Group is seeking a Microsoft Power BI Developer to support our Federal customer in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting a Federal Government customer in Rosslyn, VA. The candidate must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must not have traveled outside the US for a total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years. Residency in the US for the last 5 years is required.

Position Details

• Location: Remote anywhere
• Start Date: 03/03/25
• Duration: One year plus annual extensions

Responsibilities

1. Focus on business intelligence and reporting technologies/methodologies
2. Identify data to clean, transform, and load into data models
3. Create data models, establish relationships, and build measures
4. Visualize data models through reports and dashboards
5. Assist in delivering solutions using Microsoft BI tools
6. Partner with customers and technical teams to define requirements and design solutions
7. Collaborate with team members including project managers and analysts

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI and related technologies
• Proficiency in DAX and M queries
• Experience creating interactive dashboards and dataflows
• Knowledge of data security, roles, and RLS
• Experience with SQL and data warehouse technologies
• Strong communication skills
• Degree in relevant field or Power BI certification
• 4+ years in business intelligence
• 2+ years in client-facing roles

Additional Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
• Cannot have traveled outside the US for more than 6 months in the last 5 years
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
