Base pay range

$70.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Location: Remote

Rate: $70-$80 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Modeling: Design and develop data models using Power BI to support reporting requirements.
• Report Development: Create visually appealing and informative dashboards and reports that meet business needs.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can enhance decision-making.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation of data sources, datasets, and report specifications.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding of Power BI tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with SQL and data extraction from various sources.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Azure services and cloud data solutions.
• Knowledge of R or Python for advanced analytics.
