Job summary

True Zero Technologies, a veteran-owned small business, seeks a Power Platform engineer to embed with client teams, build integrations, and automate workflows across cloud platforms.

Requires 2–3 years of Power Platform development, a CS-related degree, and skills in JavaScript and Python. Certifications PL-900/PL-100/PL-200/PL-400 are preferred to support secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience building Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with strong business domain knowledge.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python are highly preferred.
• Understanding the Zero Trust framework and Incident Response remediation.
• Industry credentials: PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, PL-400.

Responsibilities

• Embed on-site: works side-by-side with client engineering teams in live environments.
• Build custom integrations and deploy automated workflows across platforms.
• Design and code Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps for web and mobile use.
• Create automated Power Automate workflows.
• Integrate apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and external APIs.

Job Responsibilities

Core Requirements: Python, Javascript, Typescript and Power App integration experience

Embeds on-site: Works side-by-side with client engineering teams, joining their workspaces and accessing their live infrastructure.

Writes production code: Builds custom integrations, configures platforms, sets up cloud infrastructure (like AWS or Kubernetes), and deploys automated workflows.

Feeds insights back: Translates custom, client-specific roadblocks into broad feedback that shapes the core product and model roadmaps.

Spans multiple duties: Combines software engineering, data analysis, troubleshooting, and high-level client communication.

Build Applications: Design and code Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps for web and mobile use.

Automate Workflows: Create automated business processes and multi-step approvals using Power Automate.

Connect Data: Integrate apps with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and external APIs.

Visualize Data: Build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Collaborate and Support: Gather requirements from business users, fix bugs, and provide user training.

Testing and Maintenance: Troubleshoot app performance, resolve bugs, handle security roles, and update applications based on user feedback.

Programming Logic: Knowledge of Power FX (the low-code formula language used in Canvas Apps).

Pro-Code Extras: HTML, CSS, or C# for custom plugins and advanced client-side scripting.

Job Qualifications

Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on professional experience building Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with strong business domain knowledge frequently transition into this role).

Proficiency in JavaScript and Python are highly preferred.

Understanding the Zero Trust framework and Incident Response remediation will also be a desired skillset.

Certifications: Industry credentials expertise, including:

• PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
• PL-100: Power Platform App Maker
• PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant
• PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
