Job summary

True Zero Technologies seeks a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead complex cloud and hybrid-cloud security engineering, sustainment, and optimization for CBP. You will review secure designs, direct baseline and monitoring improvements, and address high-risk configurations.

You will provide technical recommendations to Government leadership, drive incident analysis, cost and performance optimization, and develop roadmaps, dashboards, and documentation to support secure operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity modernization, Zero Trust, security engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of OMB M-22-09, CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model, NIST SP 800-207, EO 14028, and Zero Trust guidance.
• Experience conducting architecture, tool, configuration, process, readiness, and gap assessments across on-prem and cloud.
• Experience developing roadmaps, strategies, metrics, dashboards, schedules, risk registers, and technical recommendations.
• Strong facilitation, technical writing, presentation, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure cloud and hybrid architectures, baselines, continuous monitoring, security-tool administration.

The Cloud Security Engineer Senior leads complex cloud and hybrid-cloud security engineering, sustainment, and optimization for CBP. The engineer reviews secure designs, directs baseline and monitoring improvements, resolves high-risk configuration and operational issues, and provides technical recommendations to Government leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Minimum 7 years of relevant cloud security, cybersecurity engineering, systems engineering, or cloud-operations experience.
• Advanced experience leading secure cloud and hybrid architectures, baselines, continuous monitoring, security-tool administration, configuration management, audits, and operational improvement.
• For a SecDevOps assignment, the PWS specifies AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Security Specialty, and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
• For a network-focused assignment, the PWS specifies AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Security Specialty, and AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty.
• Strong technical leadership, incident analysis, cost and performance optimization, documentation, training, and Government communication skills.

Job Qualifications
