Job summary

Avertium, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant focused on Microsoft Cloud and cloud security. You will develop strategies, design secure architectures, and lead architecture and integration projects for clients in a remote team environment.

You will apply CIS/NIST/PCI/HIPAA standards, deliver reports and diagrams, and create implementation plans and programs for secure Microsoft cloud infrastructure and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, IT audit, or related role with growing responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Proficient in secure architecture design and secure coding practices.
• Experience leading multiple security architecture and integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps for clients.
• Design secure cloud architectures and integrate security controls across platforms.
• Lead complex projects, manage timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Advise clients, communicate effectively, and address escalations.
• Stay current on threats and industry trends; contribute to thought leadership.
