Zusammenfassung

Avertium is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Managed Security Services Team in the United States. You will provide excellent technical support to global clients, diagnosing and resolving security tool issues across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments in Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities include proactive monitoring, guidance to enhance security postures, and post-incident analysis using SIEM and related tools.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in a cyber security role or equivalent.
• Experience with security tool deployment, server and networking support.
• Troubleshooting on Windows and Linux environments.
• Automation scripting with Regex and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and TTPs.

Aufgaben

• Provide guidance to clients to improve their security posture within managed services.
• Monitor and Proactively reduce risk and impact for future issues.
• Utilize SIEM and other tools to assist in investigations (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Perform post mortem analysis on logs and traffic to identify malicious activity.
• Research, develop, and stay current on testing tools and process improvements.
• Coordinate with clients on issue management and knowledge transfer.
