Job summary

Avertium seeks a Cybersecurity Consultant for its Acceleration & Optimization team, focusing on Microsoft Cloud. You will develop and deliver reports, diagrams, and implementation plans, and apply security best practices to Microsoft cloud infrastructure and applications.

You will lead architecture and integration projects in a consultative role, collaborate with remote teams, and help clients tackle business challenges with secure, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, or related role with increasing responsibilities.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Security strategy development: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, policies, and roadmaps.
• Security controls implementation: Design and implement advanced security controls and technologies (SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
• Security architecture design: Design secure systems, networks, and cloud environments; assess and recommend controls for new tech.
• Project management: Lead and manage complex cybersecurity projects to meet timelines and budgets.
• Client relationship management: Maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Research and thought leadership: Stay updated on trends; contribute to whitepapers, presentations, and training.
