Job summary
UAB Medicine HSIS Information Services seeks an IT professional to conduct business requirements reviews, create technical specifications, and analyze processes. You’ll partner with process experts to learn problems with software and develop innovative IT solutions for demanding business situations.
Key duties include supporting Microsoft 365/Exchange/SharePoint, collaborating with Security and Privacy teams, and ensuring timely, within-scope requests while keeping leadership informed on system
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field with four (4) years of related experience required; work experience may substitute for education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online; ability to prioritize and multitask; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day support for routine tasks and incidents assigned to the Collaboration team
- Support routine tasks and maintenance for Microsoft 365 solutions, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online, and other affiliated applications
- Collaborate directly with the Information Security and Privacy teams
- Document standards and procedures related to the team
- Ensures requests are completed on time and within scope
- Keeps leadership informed on systems performance and problems.
