Job summary

Chevo Consulting is seeking a Microsoft Products SME to support the FireNet environment for federal stakeholders. This role provides technical leadership, tenant management, and governance for Microsoft technologies across interagency wildland fire operations.

The position is primarily remote with occasional travel in the Washington, DC metro area. This role will coordinate with DOI, USDA Forest Service, and partners to improve FireNet operations, advise on governance and licensing, and manage

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of Microsoft platform SME experience.
Experience with M365 tenant administration and governance.
Experience administering Microsoft environments, tools, and security controls.
PowerShell scripting experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft environment security controls.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with DOI, USDA Forest Service, and partners to improve FireNet operations.
Advise leadership on governance, licensing optimization, security, and user adoption.
Support Microsoft tenant administration, external user access, and platform enhancements.
Develop and maintain governance policies, SOPs, and guidance.
Manage security controls, compliance reviews, reporting, and group administration.
Interpret federal IT policies and assess impact to FireNet operations.
Support Microsoft issue resolution, ticket management, and reporting.
