Job summary

Cronin, a growing advertising and marketing agency in Connecticut, seeks an IT Manager to own and optimize our technology stack, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and our SaaS portfolio. You’ll be our sole in-house tech authority, partnering with an MSP to drive security, efficiency, and governance.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on Microsoft 365 administration with SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Experience managing MSP/vendor relationships, including contract review and escalation.
• Experience auditing and managing a multi-platform SaaS environment.
• Track record of improving systems through automation, reporting, or process changes.
• Experience building and maintaining IT documentation and SOPs.
• Strong project management and ability to juggle priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Microsoft 365 environment, with depth in SharePoint architecture, permissions, governance, and adoption.
• Standardize structure and tighten permissions for metadata-driven organization.
• Identify and apply underused M365 capabilities to boost collaboration and efficiency.
• Drive process improvements using Power Automate and Power BI for workflows and reporting.
• Partner with departments to spot inefficiencies and deliver proactive solutions.
• Serve as MSP liaison, review SOWs, ensure service commitments, and drive in-house transitions.
