A Microsoft-focused Managed Services Provider based in the D.C. metro area is hiring a Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to join its high-performing support team. This role is built for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving real technical problems and not just resetting passwords, and is energized by client interaction and mentorship.

This is a Tier 2-heavy role, ideal for someone with deep Microsoft 365 experience and a knack for uncovering root causes, not just treating symptoms. You’ll be the voice clients trust and the go-to escalation point your team counts on. If you’re ready to blend technical depth with white-glove support and are hungry to grow into Tier 3, Projects, or Team Lead work, this is the next step in your career.

What You’ll Do:

• Own escalated support for Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, OneDrive)
• Resolve org-wide issues like delivery failures, tenant misconfigurations, and complex permission errors
• Provide Tier 2+ support over the phone with energy, clarity, and professionalism
• Guide and mentor Tier 1 techs, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend long-term fixes
• Contribute to internal documentation and team knowledge base
• Occasionally assist with VPN, DNS, firewall, and Windows Server issues connected to M365 environments
• Build strong client relationships through trust, expertise, and consistent follow-through

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of MSP experience is a must
• 4+ years in IT support, including at least 2 years in a Tier 2+ capacity
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365: provisioning, permissions, policies, and tenant-wide troubleshooting
• Experience supporting complex, multi-user environments in a remote or hybrid MSP setting
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, TCP/IP, L2/L3)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Active or in-progress M365 certifications (MS-100, MS-101, MD-102)
• Salary $70,000 – $85,000 + Benefits & Bonuses
