Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Sterling, VA is seeking a Microsection Operator to join our high‑production manufacturing team. You will read shop travelers, set up and operate grinders, microscopes, and inspection equipment, ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are met.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. You should read, write, and communicate in English, have good manual dexterity, and be comfortable lifting 10–40 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend English work orders and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the shop traveler (job order, instructions, and customer specifications).
• Set up and operate machinery according to department processes and job requirements.
• Consistently evaluate product for quality and verify procedures are followed.
• Record defects and document quality data; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe production area and follow PPE and safety rules.
