Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Sterling, VA is seeking a Microsection Operator to join our 1st & 3rd shift. You will read and interpret shop travelers, set up and operate grinders, microscopes, and inspection equipment, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Overtime and weekend work may be required as production demands. We value accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work safely in a high-production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred; aerospace AS9100 a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret shop travelers, blueprints, and customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Read and accurately understand the shop traveler (job order, instructions, and customer specifications).
• Set up and operate machinery according to department processes and job requirements.
• Consistently evaluate product quality and verify procedures are followed.
• Record defects and document quality data; escalate issues as needed.
• Update traveler and product data in systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe production area and follow safety procedures.
