A leading energy solutions provider based in Atlanta seeks a Commissioning Technician to oversee the commissioning process for microgrid power generation equipment. The role involves daily oversight of vendor operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and facilitating seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and an understanding of electrical safety protocols. This hands-on position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in variable environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years related experience in oil and gas or electrical industry.
• Understanding of electronics and electrical equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of asset vendors on site.
• Megger 15kv cables and document readings.
• Prepare temporary cables for switchgears.
• Train new technicians on-site.
• Maintain safety and environmental requirements.
