Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Apopka, FL is seeking a Microelectronics Technician to join our team.

You will perform a variety of technical, chemical, and photolithography duties with semiconductor materials and devices, while following process documentation and quality checks.

The position requires a high school diploma or an Associate's degree, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years electronics work experience, or an Associate's degree in a related STEM field.
• 2 years manufacturing experience and/or 1 year of semiconductor (cleanroom) manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment for processing semiconductor materials and devices.
• Perform chemical, physical, photographic, and packaging processes such as deposition, evaporation and etching.
• Examine processes to determine quality and locate defects.
• Interpret SPC charts to maintain process control.
• Prepare reports and support mask preparation and related photolithography tasks.
