Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Microelectronics Technician 2 in Apopka, FL to support fabrication, processing and control of semiconductor materials and devices. You will operate and troubleshoot equipment, monitor processes, and ensure quality while following cleanroom procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with electronics experience or an Associate’s degree in a STEM field, plus manufacturing/semi conductor experience and the ability to obtain a Secret

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED with electronics experience or an Associate's degree in a related STEM field.
2 years manufacturing experience and/or 1 year semiconductor (cleanroom) manufacturing experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Run fabrication equipment for processing semiconductor materials and devices.
Examine processes to determine quality and discuss possible improvements with engineers.
Interpret SPC charts and prepare reports on process control and quality.
Place lots on hold, disposition held material, and document in MES.
Manipulate wafers in a FOUP weighing up to 25 pounds.
