Job summary

Gtatelecom in Miami, FL seeks a QC Microbiology Manager to lead quality operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will oversee microbiological testing, investigations, quality systems, and ensure products meet established quality and regulatory standards.

This role provides technical leadership, strengthens compliance, and drives continuous improvement in a life sciences setting supporting medical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related science with strong QA exposure.
• Experience in QC microbiology within regulated manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, and documentation.
• Proven ability to lead investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPAs.
• Experience supervising teams and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee QC microbiology laboratory operations, ensuring cGMP compliance.
• Manage microbiological testing programs, review results, and document reporting.
• Oversee deviations, OOS results, investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPAs.
• Ensure procedures, specifications, and documentation stay current and compliant.
• Support environmental monitoring and contamination control programs.
• Partner with QA, Manufacturing, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
