Job summary

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a Microbiology/Molecular Laboratory Supervisor in Rhode Island to direct operations of the Microbiology and Molecular lab, including testing oversight, instrumentation maintenance, and staff training.

You will lead competency assessment, proficiency evaluation, and performance coaching, while ensuring documentation rigor and continuous staff development in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• College degree required; ASCP certification preferred.
• Experience leading and coordinating microbiology and molecular testing workflows.
• Strong communication and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control operations of the Microbiology and Molecular laboratory.
• Oversee testing and instrumentation maintenance.
• Lead staff training, competency assessment, and proficiency evaluation.
• Drive performance management and coaching; ensure rigorous documentation.
