Job summary

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a Microbiology/Molecular Laboratory Supervisor in Rhode Island to direct operations of the Microbiology and Molecular lab, including testing oversight, instrumentation maintenance, and staff training.

You will lead competency assessment, proficiency evaluation, and performance coaching, while ensuring documentation rigor and continuous staff development in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• College degree required; ASCP certification preferred.
• Experience leading and coordinating microbiology and molecular testing workflows.
• Strong communication and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing and instrumentation maintenance.

The Microbiology/Molecular Supervisor will direct and control the operations of the Microbiology and Molecular laboratory including overseeing testing, instrumentation maintenance, staff training, competency assessment, proficiency evaluation, performance management and documentation; develop, engage, recognize and support technical and non-technical staff; manage department and individual performance by providing feedback and coaching to staff members; and more!
