Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine and specialized laboratory assays in all sections of the Clinical Laboratory. The role requires independent judgment in evaluating data validity before reporting results.

You will operate and calibrate equipment, communicate findings to physicians and nursing staff, and support continuous quality improvement. Epic, Vitros, Unity, and WellSky experience are preferred, and bilingual Spanish is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MLS certification from ASCP or equivalent preferred.
• Equivalents in experience/education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory assays in all sections of the Clinical Laboratory.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment; evaluate data validity before reporting results.
• Communicate test procedures and results to physicians, pathologists and nursing staff.
