Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Microbiology Technician to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role focuses on preparing samples for analytical and microbiological testing of food products and ingredients, applying approved microbiological techniques, and ensuring proper documentation and quality control.

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00am–7:00pm. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and an associate degree in Life Science or two years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Must have general understanding of food testing laboratory concepts and procedures.
• Ability to travel is preferred for site visits or client interactions.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for microbiological testing and indicator organisms.
• Apply aseptic techniques and maintain sterile workflow.
• Maintain media, reagents, and inventory for daily testing.
• Record data accurately and ensure quality controls are performed.
• Support safety, housekeeping, and training requirements.
