Job summary

MobilexUSA is seeking a Microbiology Technologist to perform lab testing in serology, virology and parasitology, and to support the LIS and instrument interfaces. The role includes reviewing specimens, recording QC data, and ensuring accurate documentation.

This full-time position offers a 7:00am-3:30pm shift with rotating weekends and holidays, and a pay range of $27.00-$36.00 per hour based on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology or MT (ASCP) preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in microbiology.
• Some computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews the daily specimen management report.
• Troubleshoots LIS and instrument interfaces.
• Performs Clostridium difficile assays.
• Resolves client problems as needed.
• Performs quality assurance and proficiency testing.
• Performs other duties in Microbiology as required.
