Doctor's Data Inc. in St. Charles, IL is hiring a Microbiology Sample Prep Technician for the day shift. You will prepare culture plates and slides for microbiology and tubes for parasitology in a clinical laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in biology, clinical or laboratory science is required.
• Ability to work the scheduled shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM including a Saturday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare culture plates and slides for microbiology and tubes/slides for parasitology.
• Work with biological samples in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Maintain sequential order and proper sample-to-test matching; ensure transport media identification.
• Adhere to written SOPs and quality control policies.
• Communicate production issues to the department manager or team leader.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Communicate inventory needs to department manager.
