Certified Group is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Manager in Burbank to oversee daily GMP microbiology testing across OTC, cosmetics, and drug-related products. You will drive cGMP compliance, quality, and timely results while balancing scientific rigor with business needs.

You’ll lead supervisors and analysts, coordinate method suitability, and optimize lab operations to meet customer commitments and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field required.
• Minimum five years of microbiology lab experience in GMP-regulated testing.
• Minimum three years of people-leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Microbiology lab operations in Burbank.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and data integrity in all testing.
• Manage workload, scheduling, and resource allocation across shifts.
• Lead audits preparations and customer inquiries with cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve OTD and reduce backlog.
