Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products is seeking a Microbiologist I to perform routine microbiological testing on raw materials and finished products in a GMP/GLP environment. You will document results, maintain the lab, and assist with stability studies and new material approvals to support product releases.

The role requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with ELISAs, Soleris, water testing, and electronic lab management systems. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology (preferred) or Biology with 3+ years of professional experience; Master’s with 1+ year acceptable.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/dietary supplement industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Document results and maintain lab records in GMP/GLP environment.
• Set up and calibrate instruments; prepare media and solutions.
• Assist in stability studies, raw materials approval, and product releases.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or Biology with 3+ years experience (Master’s with 1+ year also acceptable)
