Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an Inventory Clerk for The General Hospital Corporation site at 90 Blossom Street. You will maintain inventory records, monitor reorder points, reconcile stock, receive and deliver goods, and process invoices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
• Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
• Database management skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to receive, stock, and deliver goods.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders; tracks orders.
• Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical counts, reconciles stock to reports.
• Receives, unpacks, delivers goods; restocks shelves; labels items.
• Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.
• Processes and documents returns following procedures.
• Performs routine clerical duties including data entry and answering telephones.
• May serve as cashier and handle cash payments.
• May lead and train staff or volunteers and participate in recruitment as appropriate.
