Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is hiring a Microbiology Medical Laboratory Technician Culture Reader for our NORTH GRAFTON, MA lab. You will perform culture-based analyses and read/interpret results using microscopes and automated tools in a high-volume veterinary diagnostic setting.

The role emphasizes culture plate reading, microscopy skills, and teamwork, with comprehensive training and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; science degree preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume laboratory environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in the lab.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests and operating microscopes and analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run lab tests, read results, and release according to SOPs.
• Use automated analyzers, microscopes, and other lab tools for analyses.
• Carry out tests on blood, urine, fecal, or tissue samples received in the lab.
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced veterinary diagnostic lab.
