Job Description

Job Summary:

A Micro Electronic Optical Technician specializes in the hand assembly of electronic devices using soldering, epoxy, and bonding techniques. The technician assembles intricate opto-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies with precision tools and fixtures. Performs online go-no-go testing and inspection using magnifying devices, measurement instruments, and electrical tests to ensure parts and assemblies meet production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, build, and modify equipment and subassemblies based on drawings, schematics, wire prints, and work instructions.
• Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
• Inspect and adjust completed units to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Follow, maintain, and uphold all company procedures, quality instructions, and policies.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic optical systems.
• Document maintenance and repair activities as per procedures.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma with vocational or technical training; 2-5 years of relevant experience.
