As a Remote Support Technician, you’ll play a vital role at the intersection of customer support and technology. Embedded within the Operations and Client Delivery Department, the Remote Support Team is a critical part of our broader operations structure. As the key connection between people and technology, you will support interpreters, speakers, and attendees—ensuring they can engage and communicate smoothly without distraction. Whether troubleshooting tech issues or guiding participants, you’ll be the person everyone relies on to keep things running smoothly, both behind the scenes and in the moment.

The Role- key responsibilities

As aRemote Support Technician (RST), you’ll become an integral part of our operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop hands-on technical expertise while supporting exciting global events. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with RSI technology, videoconferencing tools, event management systems, and cutting-edge AI-powered solutions—all while being part of an international, diverse team.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support Global Events:Provide technical assistance to interpreters, speakers, and attendees to ensure flawless event experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:Use problem-solving skills to quickly address technical challenges, keeping events on track.
  • Grow Your Expertise:Start by independently managing smaller events and gain experience by working alongside Senior Technicians for advanced setups.
  • Collaborate Globally:Work with colleagues from around the world to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Develop New Skills:Participate in ongoing training programs to expand your knowledge and grow your career within Interprefy.

Working Hours and Flexibility:

Our support team offersflexible shift modelsto fit your lifestyle:

  • Model 1:Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts (1-hour break included).
  • Model 2:Tuesday to Thursday with 12-hour shifts (1 hour 45-minute break), plus 4 hours on either weekend day.

Shifts are scheduled weekly by the Operations Management team based on event needs. This allows you to balance work with life and develop a rewarding career on your terms.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum English proficiency of B2.
  • Minimum Spanish or French proficiency of B2.
  • Additional languages are a plus.
  • Consistent access to a reliable internet connection.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions from team leads and senior staff.
