Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting of devices (Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, printers).
• Resolves hardware and software problems for end users remotely and on-site.
• Device repairs and warranty follow-ups with follow-through.
• Provides support documentation and training for team members.
• Answers Helpdesk tickets, enters and updates work orders.
• Provides coverage in buildings when necessary.
• Identifies and presents creative solutions for department needs.
• Performs other tasks as directed by the Superintendent or designee.

Job Description

40 hours/week 7:30am - 4:00 (Inclusive of 1/2 hour unpaid lunch)

12 months per school year

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contributes to the successful implementation of the District’s Technology Plan.
• Manages District Office Inventory.
• Works with other Technicians on building inventory and coordinates roll outs of new equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting of devices (Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, printers, etc)
• Resolves hardware and software problems with end users both remotely and on-site.
• Device repairs and/or warranty repairs with follow through.
• Provides support documentation for team members and training.
• Answers Technology Helpdesk, enters and updates work orders.
• Provides coverage in buildings when necessary
• Takes initiative to identify and present creative solutions for department needs
• Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as directed by the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee.
