Job summary

Beep is hiring a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to own payroll and benefits programs in a hands-on, mid-level role. The position is based in Miami and requires collaboration with HR, Finance, and vendors to ensure compliant, timely processing.

You will manage payroll for multi-state employees, administer benefits, and support ACA/ERISA compliance while maintaining confidential records and meeting strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years combined experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Experience with payroll tax rules and wage-and-hour regulations (FLSA).
• Familiarity with benefits compliance frameworks (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA).
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately for hourly, salaried, and multi-state employees.
• Administer health, dental, vision, life and retirement plans and manage open enrollment.
• Support leave of absence administration and related compliance.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS/payroll system.
